Case-Study: Stocklands
The Brief
After the client provided a brief of the requirements, we set about to design a system that was compatible with their needs, fitting within their budget, the providing the flexibility to increase coverage change or relocate equipment as an if required. The system was to be designed on a fibre backbone with distributed switching or running on IP network providing coverage of the centre with 54 cameras. To work safely within this complex all works need to be completed after trade and evenings.
Our Approach
The client gave us a brief of what they wanted to see with the cameras, we were then tasked with designing & implementing the CCTV system that provided the result the client wanted with in their budget. The system was to be designed on a fibre backbone with distributed switching or running on IP network providing coverage of the centre with 54 cameras. To work safely within this complex all works need to be completed after trade and evenings
The Results
We provided an easy to use CCTV surveillance system utilising 3-megapixel vari-focal cameras across a fibre backbone network terminating within the centre security suite. This system provided high-quality footage and identification of patrons within the complex. The recorded vision has been utilized by the centre and Police on numerous occasions to identify, control & detain persons & objects.
