We are seeking a qualified or highly skilled Electronic Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems such as access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems. We also require you to be skilled in data cabling.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of systems
- Respond promptly to client requests for technical support
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
- Keep abreast of technological advancements in electronic security systems
Requirements:
- Certificate 3 in Security Equipment or related is advantageous, however we are wiling to train someone who has experience or is highly skilled and is willing to learn
- At least 3 years of experience in electronic security system installation and maintenance, electrician or data cabling
- Strong technical knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
